The AWS:MRT (Abyss Web Server: Mod Rewrite Translator) is a powerful PHP script used for translating Mod Rewrite directives inside htaccess files (click thumbnail for screenshot). I've seen many posts related to the URL Rewriting confusion of Apache's Mod Rewrite engine, and I knew that something had to be done. In early August, I told the Aprelium community that one of my goals was to create a translator to make the work of configuring these Mod Rewrite scripts easier. This is the result. Enjoy! This script will scan your entire document root for htaccess files and translate them right before your very eyes. With over 500 lines of code, this is one of the most important projects I've ever done. You will absolutely love it!
