For the Discord Bot, prefix these commands below with /edit (e.g. /edit shake=100, er=10,)


Commands are written like this: commandname=number_or_text_value,

You must separate every command with a comma at the end (especially tt= and bt=, they won't work at all otherwise).

For example: @editvideobot er=9, df=5, tt=this is top text, bt=this is bottom text,

Or, for the Discord bot: /edit er=9, df=5, tt=this is top text, bt=this is bottom text,

Caption cap= Text Adds a caption in a white box above the video Photos and videos
Music music= or mus= A YouTube search term (e.g. "Despacito" or "man screaming") OR a full link to a YouTube video. Adds the audio from a YouTube/TikTok/SoundCloud (heaps of other sites too) video to your video. Use it with the 'mute' command to mute the original audio. Photos and videos (also see the length= command when using this with photos)
Music Skip musicskip= A number value (in seconds) from 0 to the final second of the song. Starts the audio at a given time of the audio in seconds. Photos and videos (and requires the music= or mus= command to be present).
Music Delay musicdelay= A number value (in seconds) from 0 to the final second of the video you want to edit. Starts playing the music in the video after a delay of the given number of seconds. Photos and videos (and requires the music= or mus= command to be present).
Length CAN ONLY BE USED WHEN USING MUSIC= WITH PHOTOS length= A number value (in seconds) from 1 to 45 Specifies how long the video should go for when using music= with a still image in seconds. Max value is 45 seconds (length=45). If not specified, it defaults to 15. Photos only (when being used with the music= or mus= commands)
Muffle muffle= Number value 1-100 Muffles the audio - higher numbers = more muffled. Videos only
Start Video start= A number value (in seconds) from 0 to the final second of the video you want to edit. The time to start the video from, in seconds. Videos only
End Video end= A number value (in seconds) from 0 to the final second of the video you want to edit. The time to end the video at, in seconds. Videos only
Deep fry df= Number value (1-10) "Deep fries" the photo or video by increasing it's contrast, saturation and gamma levels. Photos and videos
Eq Rise (bass boost, loud=funny haha command) er= Number value (1-10) Reduces audio bitrate and changes audio stream to logarithmic instead of linear, reducing the audio quality and making it louder. Basically use this if you hate people who have headphones or have their speakers set to loud. Videos only
Ricecake/Datamosh rc= Number value (0-100 or above(not recommended)) Deletes all i-frames in the video (except for the first few) and randomly duplicates p-frames for a datamosh-like effect. rc=0 makes the result completely random. rc=1 - rc=10 slightly changes the probablility of duplicated frames, but in the end, it depends on the target video. They're all really powerful. Videos only
Shake shake= Number value 1-100 Creates a shake effect on the video. Videos only
Highpass highpass= Number value 1-100 Removes lower frequencies in the audio (opposite of muffle, which removes higher frequencies). Higher numbers = more frequencies removed. Videos only
Sketch sketch= Number value 1-100 Makes the video look like it's been sketched on a blank piece of paper. Higher number values add more detail, shadows and outlines. Photos and videos
Spin spin= Number value 1-10 Makes the video spin around. Lower numbers mean faster spinning, higher numbers mean slower spinning. Videos only
Pixelate pixelate= or pix= Number value (1-1000) Pixelates the video Photos and videos
Glow glow= Number value (1-100) Adds a glow effect to the photo/video Photos and videos
Technicolor technicolor Takes no arguments or values (just write "technicolor" on its own) Adds an old-fashioned cartoony technicolor effect. Photos and videos
Widen widen= Number value 1-100 Makes the video wider. A value of 10 preserves the original width, so any value smaller than 10 will make it less wide. Photos and videos
Heighten heighten= Number value 1-100 Makes the video taller. A value of 10 preserves the original height, so any value smaller than 10 will make it less tall. Photos and videos
Rasp rasp= Number value Makes the audio really weird; distorts it Videos only
Echo echo= Number value (1-100) Makes the audio have an echo Videos only
Random Lag rlag= Number value (1 to about 150) Randomly shuffles video frames in chunks Videos only
Rotate rotate= Number value from 1-360 (representing all 360 degrees (360°)) Rotates the media based on the number of degrees given (e.g. rotate=45, would rotate the video by 45°) Photos and videos
Fade In fadein= Number value (in seconds) from 0 to the final second of the video. Fades into the video from a black screen. The number (in seconds) specifies how long it should take to fully fade in. Videos only
Fade Out fadeout= Number value (in seconds) from 0 to the final second of the video. Fades out from the video into a black screen. The number (in seconds) specifies how long it should take to fully fade out. Videos only
Fade In Audio fadeinaudio= Number value (in seconds) from 0 to the final second of the video. Fades into the video from silence. The number (in seconds) specifies how long it should take to fully fade in. Videos only
Fade Out Audio fadeoutaudio= Number value (in seconds) from 0 to the final second of the video. Fades out from the video into silence. The number (in seconds) specifies how long it should take to fully fade out. Videos only
Greyscale/Grayscale grayscale or greyscale Takes no arguments or values (so just write grayscale or greyscale on its own) Makes the photo/video black and white Photos and videos
Invert Colours invert Takes no arguments or values (just write invert on it's own) Inverts the colours in the media. Photos and videos
Distort distort= Number value: 1-300 Distorts the video with a wobble like effect Videos only
Zoom zoom= Number value 1-100 Zooms in the video. A value of zoom=2 would zoom it in 2x and so on. Photos and videos
Blur blur= Number value (1-100) Blurs out the whole video Photos and videos
Morph morph= Number value (1-100) Creates a motion blur effect on the video (not to be confused with blur= which just blurs the whole frame) Videos only
Vignette vignette= Number value 1-100 Puts a vignette effect on the video. Higher numbers make the vignette more visible. Photos and videos
Volume volume= or vol= Number value or Decibel value (e.g. volume=25, or volume=10dB,) Adjusts the volume of the audio. Negative values or decibels decrease the volume, positive value increase it. Videos only
Noise REMOVED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE noise= Number value 1-100 Adds visual noise to the video (similar to the original VideoEditBot's 'acid' function) Photos and videos
Seizure mode seizure Takes no arguments or values (just write seizure on it's own) Makes the video rapidly flash on and off. Videos only
Disco disco= Number value (1-100) Creates a sort of weird flashing rainbow effect on the video Videos only
RGB Split rgbsplit= Number value 1-100 Separates the video into its red, green and blue parts. Higher numbers result in them being split even more. Photos and videos
Horizontal Flip hflip Takes no arguments or values (just write hflip on it's own) Flips the media horizontally. Photos and videos
Vertical Flip vflip Takes no arguments or values (just write vflip on it's own) Flips the media vertically. Photos and videos
Download Video downloadvid Takes no arguments or values (just write downloadvid on it's own) Just put this in a reply to someone if you just want to download their video, not edit it or anything else. Does not work with any other commands. For videos only. Videos only
Reverse reverse Takes no arguments or values (just write reverse on it's own) Reverses both the video and audio. Trying to use this with vreverse or areverse will return an error, or not process the video as you want. Videos only
Video Reverse vreverse Takes no arguments or values (just write vreverse on it's own) Reverses the video only. Trying to use this with reverse or areverse will return an error, or not process the video as you want. Videos only (duh)
Audio Reverse areverse Takes no arguments or values (just write areverse on it's own) Reverses the audio only. Trying to use this with reverse or vreverse will return an error, or not process the video as you want. Videos only (just in case you thought you could reverse your photo's audio)
Speed speed= Number value (0.1-anything I think) Speeds up both the video and audio Videos Only
Video Speed vspeed= Number value (0.1-anything I think) Speeds up the video only. Audio stays the same. Videos only
Audio Speed aspeed= Number value (0.1-anything I think) Speeds up the audio only. Video stays the same. Videos only
Bandicam bndc Takes no arguments or values (just write bndc on it's own) Adds a bandicam watermark to the top middle of your video (not sure why this is even a function but people seem to like it). Photos and videos

Add a comma at the end of every command.


When using tt= or bt=, you can't include a comma inside your text, as they're used to mark the end of the command. You can use all other punctuation, however.
