My name is Noah (known online as Pigeonburger), I'm 16 years old, and I'm a self-taught programmer from Australia!
Right now, I mostly just fool around with the APIs of different websites and see what I can create with them. So far, I've created fun tools like EditVideoBot among other bots and useful scripts.
When I'm not doing that, I enjoy playing soccer and futsal, and just hanging out with my friends in general.
I'd like to be able to extend my computer-related experience elsewhere, but don't know where to start, so I'm sticking to maintaining my current projects right now.
My specialty is Python, I use it everywhere, from creating a program that automatically joined all my online classes during the pandemic, messing around with text and song-generating artificial intelligence, and making different bots for Twitter and Discord.
My Python programming also comes in very handy when autonomously dealing with problems I'd normally have to solve manually on my server (which I was able to build myself with generous donations from fans of my EditVideoBot). Some of these issues include updating this website's DNS records whenever my IP address changes (this happens pretty often, I'm unable to buy a static IP). Another program I made sends me emails containing statistics and updates about the server, along with a list of options which I can interact with simply by sending an email reply. I've tried to automate as much as possible.
90% of this whole website is Python generated from scripts I made, too.
Recently, I've also been messing around with OpenAI's GPT-2 and Jukebox. I've started to gain an interest in artificial intelligence, and it's cool to see what it can produce from my favourite movie's script or a song's audio track.
Aside from Python, I'm also pretty competent with PHP as well, alongside general server management, and setting up things like mail servers, web servers and NoSQL and SQL databases. I'm also trying to learn more about networking now, too. I have some basic knowledge, but think it could be useful to learn there too.
If you'd like to contact me with any questions/queries, just send me a message by clicking this link! I usually reply pretty fast, as long as a proper reply email is given.
ALL of my projects (including this website) operate directly out of my server through my home's internet.
